Why Would You Want Invisalign Teen?
Growing up is something we all have to go through and as we remember, being a teenager is hard enough without having to worry about the straightness of our teeth. Traditional methods of correcting teeth used metal wires and brackets which were not the most subtle.
Invisalign Teen has been specifically designed for teenagers so you can correct your teeth without other people knowing your having treatment. They look like clear gum shields and are almost invisible to the naked eye!
How Does Invisalign Teen Work?
At the very beginning of treatment we will take a digital scan of your teeth which will be used to plan your whole journey. A series of aligners will then be fabricated, which will take you from your starting position, to the final position of straight teeth.
What does this mean in simple terms?
You will be given 2-3 aligners at every visit. Each aligner will be worn for roughly 2 weeks before you wear the next aligner. At the end of the last aligner you will come in to see us and we will check on the progress of your teeth and issue you with the next 2-3 aligners.
We will continue to do this process until your teeth have moved to their final resting position. We will then give you your retainers so you can keep your lovely straight teeth in the same position.
