Emervel is a range of dermal fillers, based on hyaluronic acid, designed for smooth integration into the skin. Hyaluronic acid is a natural product, produced by the body for processes ranging from wound repair to cell migration.
Emervel is one of the latest ranges from Galderma, with a different product designed for different results. Just like Azzalure, it is injected to areas to improve and soften the appearance of lines, but can also be used to volumise areas such as the lips.
Does The Treatment Hurt?
Using a careful technique, the injections can be painless. But the fillers we use contain a local anaesthetic and we also place an anaesthetising gel over the area to be treated.
How Does The Procedure Work?
- Any make-up is removed and the skin disinfected.
- We undertake a visual examination of your face, assessing the lines, muscles and soft tissue.
- The filler is gently placed into the target sites.
- The treatment takes about 15-30 minutes and then you are free to go about your normal day as usual.
- Before you go, you will be given some after-care tips.
How Long Before I See Any Results?
You can see results with fillers instantly.
However, some of the effect is swelling, which will settle after a few days. We always arrange a review appointment.
