Ashish is a GDC registered Specialist in Restorative Dentistry, Periodontics, Prosthodonticscand Endodontics. She has experience of treating patients with head and neck cancer, hypodontia, cleft lip and palate and dental anomalies such as amelogenesis/dentinogenesis
imperfecta.
This has required multidisciplinary working within teams. She has a keen interest in periodontics, prosthodontics and restorative dentistry. Ashish is accepting referrals in periodontics, conventional fixed and removable prosthodontics an including
toothwear and multidisciplinary cases.
Ashish has recently been appointed as a Specialist Lists’ Assessor for the General Dental Council.
Ashish completed her specialist training in Restorative Dentistry at Liverpool Dental Hospital in 2016. Ashish has worked as Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at hospitals in the North West, West Midlands and Bedfordshire. She was the Restorative Lead in Hypodontia and
Cleft Lip and Palate at Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
Ashish has attended numerous conferences and courses throughout her career and is member of the BSSPD (British Society of the Study of Prosthodontics), BDA (British Dental Association) and RD UK (Restorative Dentistry UK). She has completed her Membership (MFDS) and Fellowship in Restorative Dentistry (FDS Restorative) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
She is currently an examiner for the MFDS at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Ashish has a passion for teaching and has taught undergraduates, when she held the post of Honorary Clinical Tutor at Liverpool Dental School (2008-2016). She has also published articles in the UK and lectured nationally. During her career she has won various prizes including the BSSPD Early Career Award, BSSPD In-Training Award and Best Audit Prize at Liverpool Dental Hospital.
Outside of dentistry, Ashish has done volunteer work for Age UK and has supported her local communities by helping in a foodbank. She enjoys watching crime dramas and painting.
