Our goal is to provide quality health care to all our patients in a timely manner.
No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations at short notice negatively impact not only the level of service we aim to provide you, but our other patients as well, many of whom are having to wait for their treatment.
Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments.
Late Arrivals
The appointment set aside for you is long enough to provide you with your treatment safely and to a high standard of care. If you arrive late, we may not be able to see you and this will be noted as a missed appointment. A missed appointment fee may be applied.
Appointment Cancellation
When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other patients. If you need to cancel, please do so within three business days. Cancelled within 3 business days will ensure that a missed appointment fee will not be applied.
For patients undergoing advanced dental treatment, such as extensive restorative treatment or full mouth dental implants, where specialist equipment and materials have been ordered and considerable time (hours and sometimes the whole day) has been set aside, then cancelling for whatever reason ater booking will result in loss of any deposit.
How to Cancel Your Appointment
If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us at 01562 822 653 between the hours of: Monday – 8.30am – 5.00pm, Tuesday – 9.00am – 8.00pm, Wednesday 9.00am – 5.00pm, Thursday, 8.30am – 6.00pm, Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. We will return your call as soon as possible.
Late Cancellations and Missed Appointments
A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than three business days before the appointed time. A missed appointment is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling or turns up too late to be seen for the appointment. In either case, the missed appointment fee will be at least £90 and/or the loss of any pre-payment that was made to secure the appointment. In the case of routine check-up and hygiene appointments, the cost of the check-up and/or hygiene appointment(s) will be the missed appointment fee.
