A Long lasting solution for missing teeth and unstable dentures

When you lose a tooth or multiple teeth it can be tempting to leave the space, but studies now show that teeth either side of a space have a higher risk of needing further treatment due to decay. This is because teeth will drift into the space available in the mouth, often making them more difficult to clean. Our dental implants in Kidderminster can stop this drift from happening and also help to maintain the bone support in your mouth, which will bring major long-term benefits to your teeth and their stability.

GDC: 177447

I qualified in 2009 from Manchester Dental Hospital and completed my vocational training in my home town of Wolverhampton. I have worked in both Private and NHS practice since then, becoming Principal Dentist at Foley Park Dental & Implant Centre in September 2014.

I am incredibly keen to continually improve my knowledge and skills, providing the best quality care to all of my patients. I have since completed my Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2012 and went on to be part of the first cohort of dentists to achieve the Certificate in Minor Oral Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2013. I have undertaken a postgraduate certificate course in Restorative dentistry, as well as courses in facial aesthetics and cosmetic braces. I received my Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies with Merit, from the University of Bristol in 2015.

What Our Patients Say About Us

I have had 2 implants put in my lower jaw. This is to replace the missing teeth in the front of my mouth. I would never have had it done if it was not for the sedation. The dentist and staff are great. Nothing is to much for them. They put you at ease. I am looking forward to getting my teeth in soon.

Amazing service! Dr Suraj was great explaining the treatments and benefits of them and i felt comfortable and happy to have the treatment. I highly recommend his services especially for those who have a phobia of the dentist.

Fantastic dentist and his team! I’m a very nervous patient and they were fantastic with me throughout and after my treatment! I had sedation and I would highly recommend to anyone putting off going because of dental anxiety! Very very impressed. Thank you!!!!

Frequently Asked Questions

Contrary to what you might think, conventional dentures are not always cost-effective.

The initial layout for dental implant treatment varies on how many implants are needed and if bone augmentation is required. Other factors include the surgery itself, lab work, the prosthesis and the dentist’s and dental technician’s fees.

A cost plan will be developed only when all of these aspects have been addressed, and in some cases, dental implants may be more economical in the long term.

Dental implants are generally inserted under local anaesthetic to help minimise discomfort. If you experience any doubts about the condition of the implant site after the procedure please make sure to let us know! We can place Implants using sedation if required.

It is possible to insert implants as soon as the jaw has stopped growing. Therefore, in young patients, dental implants can only be placed once their jaw bones are fully developed. At the other end of the spectrum, there is no age limit, given of course that the patient does not display any significant medical risk factors. This will be evaluated by us during consultation.

After insertion of your implant, the bonding process (osseointegration) takes about 6-8 weeks.

In this time, the implant reaches the stability needed for it to bear weight like a natural tooth. As always, healing times can vary depending on the individual condition and indication.

Coming along to see us every 6 months to ensure your implants are maintained. If you have been referred to us from another practice or usually see another dentist we recommend you see us once a year. It is important that these checks are done by us so that if any problems did arise we could deal with them quickly. In addition to this we also recommend;

Booking to see our hygienist- she will provide you with the skills, tools and techniques to ensure that your implant is properly cared for at home to avoid any problems. She will recommend brushes and products that will help keep the area clean as well as providing you with regular professional cleaning.

Implant retained denture wearers- we also recommend seeing one of our team yearly to check your implants are healthy. You will also have to have the connections in the denture replaced regularly as these will degrade over time.

We recommend a free consultation with a member of our team who can discuss your concerns, talk you through treatment and explain costs and payment options. We have a wide range of finance solutions to suit any budget.
